4B - Emerging Optical Networking Technologies
This session is dedicated to advanced techniques which allow more efficient use of dark fibre's inherent capacities. On the one hand, these are even higher bitrates on the optical channels and versatile all-optic switching. On the other hand, the ability to flexibly deliver end-to-end network services across network boundaries is growing in importance.
