siLeDAP: Easing Interactions with Directories

Although directory services are still one of the main components in our technological environments, they don’t provide any significant toolkit or framework around them that make their interoperability easier with the applications deployed in those environments. Also, when we want to apply more complex technologies, such as COPA, we could find more problems. The main goal of siLeDAP is the development not only an advanced browser/administrator of directory services, taking advantage of Web 2.0, but the provision of a set of object classes and Web services that allow us to take advantage of all of the power that directory services offer.
