6B - Lightpath Provisioning and the Future of Ethernet Lightpaths

Lightpaths are evolving from a manually configured transport to an application-controlled service. Researchers will present the state-of-the-art in application-controlled networking, the potential for true reservation of network resources, as well as potential for the familiar Ethernet to continue as the basic layer 2 standard.

Time: Wednesday, May 23 from 14:00 to 15:30
Location: Room B - 303
Chair: Steven Wallace (US)
